wow congrats! I like the name Marguerite. That's my brother's girlfriend's name and I think it's so pretty and old-fashioned. She was named after her great-grandmother, how did your Marguerite get her name?

Well, Jack just came into my computer room (he works from a home office), and I read him all of your posts. He thanks you most humbly and whole-heartedly for your kind comments and said to let you know how special you all are and to thank you for being my friends. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Robin asked about names (Marguerite, in particular). I am one of those AG Mommies whose dollies tell me their own names - and they are often quite different than names I would choose for them myself. [img]wink.gif[/img] For example, I always knew that when I eventually got #4, I would name her Pearl - that just seemed to me to be a perfect name for her! Well, when I picked up my new "Pearl" and asked if she would like that name, she said (reluctantly, I thought) that it would be okay. But after I went through the naming process with a couple of the other girls, I looked at her again, and she seemed to be telling me that she would really rather be called Mabel. Now, I have no idea where that name came from, but that is who she is! As for #15, she had that princess braid thing hairstyle when she came (can you tell it's not my favorite hairdo?), and she told me her name was Priscilla - which seemed to fit. Then when we got home and I undid her hair, she was so happy to have her hair unbound and immediately told me that she now felt like her name should be Penelope! And I agree that she is lovely - she has long been a favorite of both my daughter and myself.

Oh, I do need to tell you about how the twins came about. Jack had not ordered any two the same, so when I said, "What fun - you got me twins!", he was a bit confused. It seems that one of the twins had come in a #24 box! Jack said that he thought when he was dressing the second one (yes, he did dress them all [img]smile.gif[/img] ) that he had already dressed that doll, but he checked the numbers on the boxes and they were different, so he thought that #24 and #26 must just look a lot alike! [img]eek.gif[/img] He never did actually look at them side-by-side till I showed them to him. He said to go ahead and send one of them back in the #24 box, but I said that if one of those girls went to the trouble of hijacking that #24 box, just so she could come to my house with her sister, then they belonged together and I should keep them both! The neat thing is that when I sent back all the duplicate Ready for Fun outfits, I had enough credit to order #24 as well!
